, If you don't mind telling, what biomedical interventions has your son responded to? We have been at this for a few years and new therapies can be so expensive and a gamble. Sometimes I wish I had a group of 'like responders' to compare interventions with before trying new things. Thanks. SHayne

We did mild hbot at our DAN!'s office (40 hours in a month) and then rented a chamber to use at home (90 hours in a month).We used lots of dvds and some books to get through the sessions (I would read my own book while he watched a dvd). We also brought in snacks and some water (which I think helped with his ears).Doing it at home can be pretty exhausting, particularly if your child goes to school full time (mine does), has other therapies (mine does), or has siblings who have their own activitites and schedules (mine does). During the week, my wife took in for 1.5 hours right after school, then I would get back in with him after a few hour break for another 1.5 hour session. We cancelled most of his after school therapies during the month that we did this. Unfortunately, we saw no benefits from the hbot. Our DAN! encouraged us to do more, but we have declined so far -- too much

disruption to his other therapies and our lives, too much exhaustion, too much money, all with no benefit so far and (it seems to us) no real prospects. I know many people say that hbot has helped their kids but, like most things, it doesn't help everyone.
