Hi Slacker,I'm going to attack western critical logic, the academic and legal versions especially:  NOT  you;  though with a signature like that I have a suspicion that you can handle anything we hurl at you...!Our logic has been honed to keep the kings and queens in power;  along with their ministers and justices.  How it works is --- it's ugly to burn people at the stake,   BUT  if you have a proper legal and logical hearing in a court presided over by a wise and impartial judge:  then you have a duty to burn the same people at the stake, to save the rest of our incredible society...!When it is heresy, religious or medical:  the arguments are kept very simple;  the heretic's beliefs are judged either right or wrong and the result is either freedom to go to the pub for a pint, or to burn.  NO  middle ground.Real life is more complex than that;  autism is more complex than that:  TV  probably has an influence, cell phone radiation certainly seems to have an influence;  all the other things you've heard about have their influences and they all add up in different ways for each child, synergistically.  Yes, negatives can be synergistic just as positive can.We can fight back the same way:  instead of fighting critically we fight synergistically;  though critical logic is still useful for 10% of the argument in testing each part of the treatment as it progresses.OK  so far?Ref:  Dr de Bono.  Six Thinking Hats and a ton of other publications.I might be wrong....but this seems to border on the same idea that TV causes autism. However there are third world countries that dont have tv's and still have autism..The first documented case of autism was back in the early 1930's, im not sure but I dont believe cell phone technology was in existance back then. (however vaccines where)Would the amish be exposed to the same radiation as the rest of us ( even though they dont use cell phones) and they have no blood line cases of autism. I do wonder if the heavy metals that give us autism don't give  TV  Studios and their sponsors all kinds of manic compulsions and schizophrenias.  When we see a sane or responsible piece of programming we talk about it for weeks afterwards, don't we.  The normal psychotic programming we don't notice much anymore, do we?By the way, do you think Oprah's latest moves could give her a chance to tell Obama some useful home truths about autism?I think they're talking about regressive autsm that we're seeing today. I didn't own a cell phone until 2 years ago. My daughter is 13 and she was diagnosed with autism at 3yrs 8months. No cell phones in my life.before she was born. Probably all the air waves causing autism. How about all the crap they send into outer space. I might believe that one for awhile. When they started sending all the crap into space they warned people who ate the snow to stop it contained radiation. very little tv too. Try again I guess.

If you read the original published article they are referring to, I think you will get a better idea of what they are saying. They are NOT saying cell phones are the only cause, but rather a contributing factor. For example, if EMR decreases cellular permeability, it could potentially cause metals to build up within the cell and make the clearance of heavy metals more difficult.
