Guest guest
I think it's probably the Threelac. It's not necessarily a bad sign, just that it's going in and starting to stir up the yeast in the gut. -----Original Message-----From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ]On Behalf Of thestorkladySent: Saturday, December 01, 2007 9:18 AMTo: mb12 valtrex Subject: Threelac??? I purchased some Threelac and received it in the mail yesterday. I gave Connor his first dose yesterday and his second dose this morning. About one hour after taking it this morning he had the diahrea. Is it the Threelac causing this or just a virus bug going around? Oh, I forgot to mention that the 2 year old took half dose yesterday and last night had some loose stools. What do you think???LeAnn
Guest guest
I have heard that Threelac is a natural laxative. My DAN said that. Sadly,my 3 year old has been on it 2 weeks and is still passing large, hard stools that make her cry. But yes, I think it could be the Threelac. --- thestorklady wrote: > I purchased some Threelac and received it in the > mail yesterday. Guest guest
It can go either way and for alot of kids' it causes constipation.Especially when you raise the dose.We were told to do everything possible to ensure my son had a bm everyday no matter what.So we used suppositories,Vit C,magnesium .You name it.C Lyon wrote: I have heard that Threelac is a natural laxative. Guest guest
No, I haven't. My DAN said she did not think it was natural to ingest. Just her opinion. But I would love to try. My child only goes once a week and they are painful! I noticed several brands at Whole Foods. Which brand do you recommend? Thank you.Isabel Poor wrote: Have you tried aloe vera juice? Guest guest
My DAN didn't specify a "brand". I just bought the first one I found at the grocery store. He also recommended Fruit-eze (www.fruit-eze.com) and/or Oxypowder (www.oxypowder.com) Hope this helps!C Lyon wrote: No, I haven't. My DAN said she did not think it was natural to ingest. Guest guest
My daughter also had very loose stools on Threelac. My DAN! told me to discontinue all probiotics because of the looseness. > > > I purchased some Threelac and received it in the > > mail yesterday. Guest guest
Maybe you need to give him half or a third of the packet. He is only 2. Mickie takes a whole packet and he is 10. He was passing hard stools for a day even after taking three packets a day, then he had a really soft one so I lowered it to one a day and he is doing fine now. Don't panic, just lowered until you get the right amount. Zurama > > I purchased some Threelac and received it in the mail yesterday.
