You have your health back and isn't that really what this is all about? _____________________ Tracey, I second that! I'm about the same size(I think) as Elle, but maybe just a tad taller(I'm 5'7 " . Sometimes I get down and feel sorry that I ain't a 12 or so, but Heck I'm an 18, and froma 36 dress size that aint too shabby! I look at myself and then look at others who have lost with the RNY and are smaller and wonder if they are as healthy because I think they look sick. I saw a lady at the store who lost 200 with her gastric bypass and has not gotten small, but she looked healthier than most , so I think that some people don't have as much bounce back to the skin and they age with the loss. SO some handle looking good at the smaller sizes while others are not as well off. Like me, I'm just glad I didn't have a lot of neck flesh to droop. Either way, I'd rather be a size 18 and look fairly decent than a sickly skeleton at any size. Others have noticed that at some point they notice they look better also. I do know I look older than when I had surgery... I have had a really hard time dealing with my chronic pain issues. The degenerative disc problems in my mid back are really giving me problems and much of the time It just hurts to breathe(They are in the area where my ribs and all expand). I resent all the docs who told me that it would all be better with weight loss. So Elle, Your my hero! To lose what you did and have the energy and health to chase all those children??!! Oh my Lord, you are a superwoman...LOL. Mel http://hometown.aol.com/mdl1031/
