Guest guest
ROFLMAO! Lasagna Gardening is the concept of composting in layers in a small area to create a small (or large) patch of very healthy and growable ground. 'Lasagna Gardening' is actually the title to a book. I don't remember the author (maybe does), as it has been years since I had the book. Yeah, if only I could get that mozzarella plant to grow ... Actually, no ... I'm on my way out to dinner and bed right now, but google on ... errmmmmm ... Lanza ... the book is available on Amazon, at least. Was accidentally doing something similar for years, it worked pretty well, did it on purpose the last couple of years, it works even better. Basically for starting " new " beds. More later if you want, food calls me. It's calling. " ! ! Maaaarrryyyyy!!!!!! " (segue to fade) MFJ I wanna live! I wanna explore the Universe! And if you want, you can park a chicken tractor on a patch of land ... feed the birds leftovers and weeds, and add a layer of straw daily or every other day. After a month or so, you get this nice thick layer of compost ... move the tractor (or harvest the birds, I think this works best on meat birds) and leave it alone for a few months, then plant.
