Guest guest
Hey, long time since I posted. I have had the most miserable 4 - 5 months. Debilitating fatigue, pain and constant complications. I've lost 53 pounds since last winter-not trying to. You may, or may not, remember me, I am a non responder now dealing with chronic, and apparently progressive, Hep C problems. I was diagnosed with cryoglobulinemia last year-this is like rheumatoid arthritis and peripheral neuropathy all wrapped up together in a painful package.Portal hypertension two years ago and then they had me chasing oncology because of abnormal proteins in the blood-big worry of B Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I have been studying up lately and see a lot of things lining up that way over the last 5 months. The peer reviewed journals are booming with the association between HCV, Cryo, and Non-hodgkins lymphoma. Anyone else dealing with such things? I go to the Univ of MN this week. Also have been having lots and lots of trouble controlling depressive symptoms, fuzzy brain fog and so on. A lot of days I feel like a useless bag of faulty organs! Wondering if anyone's dealt with cancerous complications from chronic HCV infection. Do they march you right up to the Interferon window? Eek! that was a nightmare. If they treat for Lymphoma won't the chemo make the HCV worse? Oh geez, someone just lie to me and say everything is going to be peachy! I completely and thoroughly hate this HCV and all these complications! I lurk, and lurk and it seems like I'm the only one going down this HCV road. However, I am much thinner and that above everything makes my day!
