Today I took the last pills. Also had a doctor's appt today. Viral load is still undetectable!!

Now I have to stay undetectable for 6 months and I will reach SVR.

Lets be honest, This time this treatment was a bugger bear. Nothing that I couldn't handle. But it is not for wimps. And I am no wimp. But if I reach SVR I am going to be one happy camper. I am glad that I tried treatment again, because I can be a mentor for those that haven't reached the SVR. Somebody has to be the forerunner and it should be me.

But I know in my own heart, I have beat it this time. As you know they say 3rd time is the charm. And I believe it.

Now husband and kids planned a end of treatment get away for me, and we are going to Padre Island this weekend for the long weekend as a celebration for me and for them. As my husband said tonight, we all went through this treatment with you. Yeah you were the one with the side effects but we were the one telling you "You can make it" My son came here to live at the last few months of treatment as he found out his father was cooking all the meals. (I couldn't stand the smell of food cooking). I didn't even like to eat it when it was too hot, because the smell drifted up from the food. So I Thank my family for getting me through this.

Now the bad thing is food is going to start to smell good again. LOL But I am planning on sticking to a proper diet. Although occasionally I will have to have a breakfast taco!!

You can't live in Texas without having some of those good tacos.

I will keep you all updated as I get information. But the good news right now is that I am finished and just will be waiting to get back to normal, what ever that is. LOL

Love

Janet
