VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

for the Georgia Race for Autism and Family Fun Day

Saturday, October 2, 2010

This year one in every 110 babies born in the United States will be diagnosed

with Autism. Please support the Autism Society of America - Greater Georgia

Chapter and Spectrum Autism Support Group by signing up as a VOLUNTEER for the

Georgia Race for Autism and Family Fun Day. The Georgia Race for Autism and

Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at the Gwinnett County

Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, Georgia. The proceeds go

directly to the Autism Society of America – Greater Georgia Chapter and Spectrum

Autism Support Group. Please visit http://www.GeorgiaRaceForAutism.com to learn

more about the event. Click on the volunteer tab on the right side of the

screen to register as a volunteer.

You can also help by making a donation to the Georgia Race for Autism

fund-raising team. If you would like to support the ASA fundraising team,

please visit www.GeorgiaRaceForAutism.com and click the link to " Other Teams "

and then " ASA-GA " on the right side of the page.

You can also create your own fundraising team by clicking " Create a Team " on the

race website.

Your support could send children with ASD to camp, provide a seminar and

resource fair for families with newly diagnosed children, fund an educator

training seminar, create a training program for professionals working with

adults on the autism spectrum, or give children the opportunity to have a

private appointment to visit Santa. These are just a few of the great things

that ASA and Spectrum provide. Please help families affected with Autism by

supporting this event. Be sure to register to run one of the races and be sure

to bring your family and friends out to enjoy the Family Fun Day.
