Parents of children with disabilities, self advocates, local professionals working in disability supports and services should attend.

Why is this meeting important?

Learn how to get involved and connect with others to build strong communities of support for people with disabilities. More than 5000 people with disabilities are waiting to receive funding for home and community based services. Each year the list grows. The “Rural and Human Services Transportation Coordination†legislation in Georgia passed into law in 2010 and now requires agencies to work together to deliver transportation in a coordinated, efficient manner.
