Iran has been dealing with violent anti-government protests for months now. The leaders know they are in trouble because the economy, largely owned and controlled by the mullahs, is teetering as well. Just like Chavez, they are rattling their sabers more and more loudly the more threatened they feel. Likes Chavez, I won't be surprised if they won't pull some kind of military action this year.
