Guest guest
I was only going to get 1 Nubian goat and milk her and the Jersey. I was wondering if the Jersey and the Nubian goat would get along and stay in the same pasture without hurting each other. If I get two goats will they need their own pasture or will they share with the Jersey cow? My spirits are getting better, I finally got my girl to understand what carrots are:-) So now she gets carrots with the horses. She has decided that the horse grain (sweet feed) is her favorite grain, and she loves the square bales of brome hay that the horses get. She is really letting me see her personality now so that is a lot of fun. I can't believe the people that have asked to buy the raw milk. I have not given that much thought I was only thinking about good milk for us and butter and ice cream and all of that. I have found an expo coming soon with a lot of people with goats and organic farmers. I'm not sure what it is all about but I'm going, I think it will be fun. AOL now offers free email to everyone.
