Hi Bill,

TOO much of a good thing is often a very bad thing,

but there is a fine line when on treatment.

Hydration is critical, too little and you find yourself

in a world of hurt, ask anyone here, myself included,

that has ever been on treatment.

Bottom line is to employ common sense..

This was one of 's problem. His MELD score was not high enough for a transplant. He drank more fluids than he should have. One doc told him to drink so much water a day, and drinking that much water, he wasn't hungry.http://www.medhelp. org/posts/ Hepatitis- C/amonia- and-sodium- levels/show/ 97206

I agree with Sheena, I think Hydration is the most important thing while on medicine (and while off it also). I pretty much use caffeine as a treat, maybe once a week (if that much). The more hydrated I am the better I feel. To: Hepatitis_C_Central Sent: Sat, January 23, 2010
