Guest guest
Marla - Sounds like Lilyen's pain is similar to mine. #1 - My discs in the upper back are so close together that they press on the nerves leading up into my head, across the shoulders, and down both arms to about 3 " above the elbows. The ortho sent me to the pain specialist. He gave me a cortisone injection that GREATLY relieved the pain. Next, I had to deal with the arthritis in my knees. Left one really hurt. Diagnosis: the right one is much worse. Then I began having terrible pains at night in bed. They'd go from my hip to the left knee, then down my leg almost to the left ankle. MRI. Thought: discs in lower back are so close together that they press on the nerves... Second thought: it's the pelvis ressing on the nerves. Another cortisone injection, with BLESSED relief.
