Guest guest
Hi everyone -Shenanigans Improv for Asperger's/HFA has a lot going on these days! We're now registering for our 6-wk SPRING SESSION starting April 14. We have several classes in improvisational acting in East Cobb, Sandy Springs, and Buckhead for Aspies and HF autistic spectrum, ages 10 through adult. No experience needed - just come ready to have FUN! This summer we're launching an exciting series of SUMMER DAY CAMPS IN THEATER ARTS! For ages 10-18 with Asperger's/HFA. A limited number of neurotypical campers are welcome to register. Our camps start May 24 and run through mid-July in several locations around Cobb/N Fulton - all locations are convenient for much of the metro area. Each week's theme provides a different, entertaining experience - choose from puppetry arts, Broadway theater, and improvisational acting. We're excited to welcome a former director from LA's The Miracle Project (the group that produced "Autism-The Musical") as one of our instructors, beginning with the Broadway theater camp this summer. And, our director is collaborating with a Jim Henson puppeteer to prepare our puppetry camp agenda that's sure to be a hit! We have experienced and enthusiastic instructors and support staff, all eager to make our camps one of the highlights of your child's summer! We also are planning to form a class for ages 5-10, to be taught by a wonderful new instructor who has many years' experience in improv theater and is dad to a youngster with autism. If you know of a child who would like to be a part of Shenanigans, let me know and we'll work to get something going!Contact Sandy Bruce to get a full schedule and the details on any of our programs - or sandy@....
