This is an FYI if you know of any parents in Walton County who are looking for a way to get involved and make a difference in this community.

WCNT has brought Positive Behavior Supports workshop, Parent to Parent trainings on Parent Rights and Understanding IDEA, Get It Forever Together (G.I.F.T.) organizing your child's records originated with this team of parent volunteers, and the newly formed Adapted Baseball program where 48 children with disabilities and their families have come out each Sat to enjoy a time of fun and sportsmanship.

Walton County Navigator Team May meeting

Please join us on Wednesday, May 12th at 9:30a.m.

We will be meeting at the Walton Career Academy in Rm. 305.

Please bring a friend and help us plan the ADAPTED BASEBALL AWARDS PICNIC!

We will also be revealing the new name of our baseball program - be the first to see the logo!

Other topics for discussion will be FAMILY FUN DAY 2010, the WALTON COUNTY RESOURCE FAIR, the G.I.F.T. WORKSHOP, and future trainings for the 2010-11 school year. See the attached agenda.
