Raw milk bill HB1010

PUBLIC HEARING this THURSDAY March 15, 2007

Request for WRITTEN Testimony

This is IT! Del. Ann Love's bill, HB1010, exempting from

regulation sales of raw milk from producer to the final consumer,

will be heard by the House Health and Government Operations Committee

Thursday, March 15 at 1:00 pm. Mark McAfee of Organic Pastures Dairy

in California is coming to testify for the bill. Press Conference

prior to hearing at 12:15 in room 218 of the Lowe House Office

Building for those who would like to attend.

ACTIONS:

If you cannot come to the hearing, PLEASE SUBMIT WRITTEN TESTIMONY by

tomorrow, Sunday, March 11, at 4:00 pm. You know why you are

passionate about this stuff ! We need statements from doctors as well

as compelling/dramatic stories about your experience with raw dairy.

Please use the following criteria to prepare your testimony:

- Bill number and bill title at top of page " HB1010 Milk Products

Direct Sale to Consumer - Exemption from Regulation "

- State explicitly that you SUPPORT HB1010

- Short and sweet! Ideally one or two paragraphs or several bullet

points to make your point- one page MAXIMUM.

- Make sure to have your name, address and contact info on the page.

(They need the address to verify your residency)
