Self-intro of , Iloilo, Panay island, The Philippines

Hi group,

My name is . I am from Belgium,

(teacher_erik@...) and recently moved to the

Philippines.

As you can learn from my email address, I am a

teacher. I taught languages in Taiwan for 7 years,

before moving here.

I am so lucky that I have a huge piece of land that I

can use. I built some pens and hoophouses and I put

some chickens and turkeys in them. They have a nice

pasture there to forage on.

Now I was thinking of keeping more animals, such as

geese, guineafowl, runner ducks and goats.

The reason I want to keep (milking) goats, is that I

would like to try to make some goat cheese.

By joining this group, I hope I can learn more about

taking care of goats, breeding them, and last but not

least to share experiences in making goat cheese and

other related products.

I am looking forward to reading other members'

messages, experiences and so on.
