Guest guest
My grandpa used to have a fairly large garden that was on a portion of my Uncle Bob's farm. In the center of it were some forty gallon drums with some funnels on them which used to collect the rain when it rained. He used the water in them to water the plants in his garden much the same way you do it. When there was not enough water, then he went back to toting buckets of water from the spigot to the garden. Administrator Doing it this way was actually faster than using the hand sprayer as well as more precise in terms of getting the water where it was needed and how much. The broad area sprinkler didn't seem to accomplish much the other day and with the water shortage I won't be using it for some time.
