Guest guest
Hi, My son is attending a private school in Alpharetta/Georgia for 1 1/2 year. I haven't have many problems. However I received a call this Thursday to get my son. When I was talking on the phone with the director I notice that the school was not following the plan that we had in place to keep my son from have tantrums. The school ask me to have a meeting that Thursday.I told them that I would like to invade a friend of my that is a special need teacher to the meeting. They were very upset about that. When I send an e-mail about days that we could meet. They wrote me back that they are very busy tutors students, doing open house and testing new students so they don't have time to meet me but they can discuss the problem by e-mail. I wrote it back that this is not a matter to be discuss by e-mail I would like to have a meeting. They wrote me back that my son can not comeback to school to they work the problem out and the only way this can be resolve is exchange e-mail.They have ignore my concern of behavior plan not been follow. My son tuition is $18,000.00 already pay our part the school receive SB10 (federal money)that help us to with the tuition. I'm sorry can I private school refuse to meet a parent to discuss concern? Where can I follow a complain? I don't feel comfortable in have my son back at school without a meeting and now this is so crazy and unprofessional that obvious I don't want to keep business their, but since we already pay I just want to finish this school year. What is my right is a parent since is a private school? Thanks!!!!!!!! A.Simon, "I know God promises not to give me more than I can handle. Guest guest
I recommend calling Atty Mrs. Estes she was a tremendous help for us. Then we moved out of state.
