Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am writing back after 7 weeks of the end of my treatment to let you all know how I am feeling and to remind of two things that really helped me get through 48 weeks of tx. First, the back and joint pain, it is quite normal to have it, I am 43 and I had it all the time, different places of the body, and some serious muscle spams in very rare locations. I ended my treatment 7 weeks ago and I no longer have them so often, I would say they come and go, but from daily to only around the weekend, I guess it is related to the day I used to take my injection, hence it is getting better. The advices I want to pass it around are: IF YOU REALLY NEED TREATMENT... 1 - Always think positive and have a very postive attitute 2 - DRINK LOTS OF WATER...that really does the magic, at least a gallon during a normal daylight, plus a couple of glasses in the evening... AMAZING. Now the bad news...I have always been very normal, tolerant, positive and somewhat calm...after I started the treatment I had to go see a psychiatrist due to change of my mood, nervousness, insomnia and a a lot of anger...seriously, no kidding, I mean ANGER... I started taking lexapro daily, it really made a difference, it helped a lot, but I also became a bit spaced out and feeling "not me anymore"...even though it helped. I am still taking lexapro, but only half of the dose daily, until next week when I will stop it, but I am concerned though, since I decreased to half (0.5mg only) about a month ago, I have noticed a terrible change of mood, and I became ANGRY again, and unfortunatelly this is harming my beautiful wife, my little son and our puppy, they all noticed, and they are concerned again! I remember once reading from this guy (Lloyd ), when he mentions that you will never be the same! scary, really is, but I don't want to believe in that. Any ideas, inputs, advices, experiences to share, I would appreciate.
