Guest guest
Can you get a immunization form that says you refuse any more shots for your daughter? I know there is a certain word for it. If I have to get Wes shots we are only doing the ones that are needed - last time I went they wanted me to let him have a flu shot - and after a five minute discussion they finally left off the flu shot - WE will die if we get the flu but I'm not taking the shot nor the other shots - anthrax, pneummia, stress, fat, they can keep those shots and shove them where the sun don't shine. My 5 yr old is due vaccination booster and I really don't want to risk her health. Can you guys help me out ?I am scared that it may disrupt her progress. What are some of my alternatives because school starts in a few weeks? She is HFA -- White
Guest guest
When I owned a private school, parents that did not wish to have their children immunized, had to give to me a signed & notorized affidavit stating the reason they did not have their child immunized, This paper was good to use for the public school too. I hope that helps. My 5 yr old is due vaccination booster and I really don't want to risk her health. Can you guys help me out ?I am scared that it may disrupt her progress. Guest guest
FYI -All fifty states have legislation requiring specified vaccines for students. Although exemptions vary from state to state, all school immunization laws grant exemptions to children for medical reasons. Almost all states, except Mississippi and West Virginia, grant religious exemptions for people who have religious beliefs against immunizations. Twenty states allow philosophical exemptions for those who object to immunizations because of a personal, moral or other beliefs.GA Exemptions:The Official Code of Georgia provides for only two types of exemptions from immunization requirements:1) Medical: Medical exemption for a vaccine should be filled in only when there is a physical disability or condition that contraindicates immunization for that particular vaccine. There must be an annual review of medical exemptions, and certificates must be reissued with or without indication of exemption.O.C.G.A. §20-2-771(d).2) Religious: For a child to be exempt from immunizations on religious grounds, the parent or guardian must furnish the school/facility with a notarized affidavit stating that immunization conflicts with his or her religious beliefs. There is no standard form for Religious Exemption. The school/facility must keep the affidavit on file and available for inspection by health officials in lieu of an Immunization Certificate.Affidavits denoting religious exemption do not expire. Guest guest
The form you are taking about is a signed letter or a legal type of form that needs to be fill out. --- Original Message --- Sent: July 17, 2012 7/17/12 To: autism-georgia Subject: Re: Help Vaccinations  Pat is completely correct. Guest guest
My son is in the public school system and for his school I just had to write on a piece of paper that I did not vaccinate due to autism and had it notarized and had no problem with it.
