Guest guest
Does anyone have a developmental optometrist they would recommend for the Greater Atlanta area. I have a 10 yr. old son who is nonverbal with severe autism. Thanks, Dee
Guest guest
We take our 13 year old - from about the time he was 5 or so - to Dr. Sharon Berger at the Roswell Eye Clinic. That's where we got our son's glasses, and he is currently getting vision therapy (our second round). I forgot to give any more details when I last wrote about this: 1190 Grimes Bridge RdRoswell, GA 30075 Phone: Fax: Hope that helps,Mike Does anyone have a developmental optometrist they would recommend for the Greater Atlanta area. Guest guest
We have had a lot of success. Our son no Longer walks around with his head tilted and He has more headaches. We have been doingVT for three years and it has helpedTremendously. He can bounce balls andCatch them as well as swing a bat and his ballWe have learned to do the therapy and do itTwice a day for about five minute sessions Our OT is thinking that our daughter may be having difficulty with convergent vision (i.e. her eyes may not be moving / working together). Do any of you have experience with vision therapy? Has anyone had success getting insurance to cover it? Are there any providers that you recommend or don't recommend? Thanks for any info! =
