I have request residential treatment for my son, but my insurance (Cigna) have denied. My insurance told me to look on a day treatment program that Peachford Hospital has first. When I was their getting information my son (Autistic) had a nervous breakdown. It was pretty bad and the hospital took him is a patient on the youth behavioral Unit. This was Friday afternoon. He will be discharge soon. I did get a call today from Peachford Business office letting me now that they take Cigna but don't take medicaid. So I'm responsible for $1000.00 and 20% of what they charge a day. I call medicaid and they told me that since they don't bill medicaid all I can do is submit any payment using a full review submission package (on their website) and see if they would help. Does anybody have been thru this process? Did you get any reimbursement thru Medicaid? Cigna HMO is our first insurance and Medicaid (SSI) is the secondary. Thanks!!
