Guest guest
Where are you? Does anyone have any recommendations for dentists for a preschooler on the spectrum with sensory issues? Thanks much!
Guest guest
Where do you live? My son has autism and I made the mistake of allowing a pediatric dentist to put amalgam fillings in his mouth. I month later I start biomedical treatment only to find out that amalgam fillings are 50% mercury... so be careful. Dr. Healy in Sandy Springs is the only pediatric dentist I've found who can replace them with white fillings. I would recommend Dr. Healy. I've also been told that Dr. Hogan in Suwanee is very good with parents of special needs children and that she'll do fillings that aren't amalgam. To: autism-georgia Sent: Thu, May 6, 2010 2:22:25 PMSubject: dentists? Guest guest
We see Dr Hogan in Suwanee for all our children (1 ASD and 3 typical) and she is WONDERFUL! My oldest son had to get sealants and the ones she uses are BPA free which was important to me. She is really great with my ASD child! Meredith > > Where do you live?
