Is anyone else here worried about growing the list?

I struggle to keep up with it as is - after 3 days of

not reading it, I can have 500-600 posts, and I end up

deleting a lot of them as I don't have time, and

probably miss a lot of useful info. If we had many

more list members, I would drown under all the email I

receive!

At least at the moment, as we have a few people

joining, we'll also get a few leaving, so it's a slow

growth but manageable. Also, as the newbies learn

over time, they post a little less to make room for

more newbie questions. If we had lots of new people

join the list, then the responses to all the questions

would be unmanageable.

NB: please no-one take this the wrong way - I'm not in

any way implying that we shouldn't allow new members,

nor that they shouldn't ask questions, just that it is

probably preferable to keep the growth of the list to

a manageble scale for the current list members.
