My workout of choice has always been water aerobics. I can feel

like a ballerina in the water and it doesn't destroy my knee. The

water gives some resistance to help tone. I look out at all the

machines in the gym and " think " about them...knowing they would be

good for muscle development...but I'm too lazy. I need the

structure of a " class " .

I think the workout you have chosen sounds great. Perhaps in time

you can up the treadmill workout to 20 min. at an aerobic level (not

for weight-loss but for heart health reasons) With going to the

gym...even if you do lose a few pounds (or a cloths size) you may

find your totally cool with it because you will be in a firmer body

that feels and moves better.

I read constantly that walking is the #1 best all around form of

exercise we can do. We can do it at aerobic levels, it builds the

thigh muscle which is a large muscle and has an impact on raising

our metabolism. It's considered low impact, but the amount of

pounding on the leg bone is enough to help build " bone health " .

Some advice when doing most forms of exercise...hold your tummy

muscle in and tight. It will help to build your tummy muscle and it

will help to protect your back from injury during the exercise.

Hey Men...also aren't you supposed to Exhale during exertion?

Hugs

Jo
