Guest guest
I don't think it ever was recovering. What kept unemployment numbers down was the old dirty trick of government hiring people to keep the numbers down. All these new bureaucracies will take more people off the unemployment line but add to the problem since government workers earn twice as much as civilian workers, and all that money comes from money stolen via taxes. Banks always were in trouble as well, but the numbers were masked by the bailouts. Now more foreclosures are coming and home sales have plunged an estimated 30%. Lots of other factors out there too and nonsense coming from on high that will only make it worse, none the least of those will be the tax increases coming next year.
