Poor baby! I was seeing this all in my head as you described it. Even sucking up the cat food! If I had one that is how Dill would act! He absolutely hates the vacum, Jessie hates the lawn mower even worse, the hateful dog runs when it stops moving, The chicken hussy. We broke down and paid someone to mow the grass here. I figure the risk of ticks and keeping Tom from having a heat stroke was worth the cash. The guy had a riding mower and weedeater and did in two hours what it took me , Tom and 2 days to do with a push mower and a weed eater(I did the weed eating) I think I would love the scooba. You'll have to let me know how it works. The kitchen floor On green valley has Linoleum that looks like Ceramic. Very pretty. I bet it does a good Job. Does it dry as well....If I remember right it washes and dries as it goes. Just keep it away from the kitty food. How is Ronny doing?. Is he still having tummy troubles? BTW, Do you still have the black cat? The one Tom loved so much? I know you said it was the kids cat. Did you send it to them? Or did you end up with it? You had some pretty good cats. I have to keep a gardener or else I would end up embarassed! lol Especially being on the corner and across from the mailboxes. Everyone sees my yard. I could never do it this cheaply, either. The scooba dries the floor by sucking up the dirty water. I will wait until the weekend to try it since I need to watch it for problems. I learned my lesson with the roomba. Ronny is cachectic, like an extremely old man. He is deaf. He wants to drink cream and it gives him the runs. lol He vomits. Poor old thing. If he eats soft, moist food he does better. I have been accused of keeping him alive beyond his time. Shrug. I am thinking of shaving him for the summer. He hasn't groomed himself in years. Chevy is with me. I told if he wants her, he has to come get her. She is my favorite cat these days. You know, the least number of annoying habits. I hope you can come to a pool party someday. They can be sensitive little dears. (I also used to have an Equator " clothes processor " ...put in dirty clothes, take out washed AND dried clothes.) So it used to be cool to mention, while I was out, that I was washing and drying dishes and laundry and vacuuming the floor. With all THAT under my belt, why NOT go out for lunch. Anyway, a neighbor ADORES her Scooba and Consumer Reports says to save your money. I'm anxious to hear your review. I like the Roomba, but I also like my new vacuum. Sorry about the (pet-food necessitated) Roomba surgery. Guest guest Posted June 2, 2006 Report Share Posted June 2, 2006 Sue, you have obviously never seen my garage or you would know you dont' have to tell me to save my boxes! lol Part of my problem... I read the consumers report, but it couldn't take into account my intense dislike of scrubbing floors! lol I do use a swiffer, but haven't bought a Swiffer Wet Jet due to resentment of the company for not making them use the same pads. Jerks. Anyway, I use a spray bottle and spritz water on the floor so I am my own wet jet. Thanks for the tips. I saved your furby autopsy page.
