PJ will be unavailable until later next week sometime depending on how things go. Please don't fret though..there is a wonderful team of co-moderators that will ensure things continue smoothly. I just got off the phone with my SIL and her best friend's son was just diagnosed with AML on Thursday and was already started on Chemo on Friday last week. Unfortunately, his mom caught a cold and cannot be with him during this time! Luckily his dad is in the room with him. Oh, great, I forgot his first name, but the last name is Boyle. Guest guest Posted April 25, 2006 Report Share Posted April 25, 2006 I just talked to Lilyen and she is in urgent need of your prayers. She fell and hit her head on the cement. She was unconscious and has had a cathscan and an MRI. She is in constant pain and is at home. She is sleeping most of the time. She is waiting for a neurosurgeon call. The possibilities lie somewhere from a broken neck to brain problems. She is also in constant pain from rotator cuff tears in her shoulders (unrelated to the fall) and will need surgery to fix that. This has not been her year. She is not in the house yet and that is at a standstill until they get " patched up " physically. The condition of her adult son is still going down hill. I asked her if she wanted to be on the group's prayer list and she said most definitely. So please pray for her.
