Aluminum is also added to municipal water in the fluoridation process, and in

baking powder (and goods made from it), cookware, cans, etc. Tin is the

stannous of stannous fluoride. Malic acid/apple pectin, availabe at HFS,

chelates aluminum.

check out Dana's metals info here:

http://www.danasview.net/metals.htm

This lists sources of exposure for various metals.

See also:

We use reverse osmosis water only. We use Calphalon to cook in. I

haven't used baking soda since, well I can't even remember when. ---

Elaine,

I don't know what might have caused the poisoning, but your friend

SHOULD NOT be using run-of-the-mill antiperspirants in any case. The

best " natural " deodorant I've found is made by Alvera and comes in

almond, herbal, and unscented varieties. The almond smells fantastic,

IMO, and I almost NEVER have bo...I do sweat a bit, but that's

healthy. You can find it online here:

http://www.vitacost.com/Store/Products/ProductDescription.cfm?SKUNumber=07743533\

make sure you put both lines in your browser.

Vaccines have aluminum in them.

You might want to check out Autism-

Mercury

That group is big into hair analysis (mostly related to mercury).

More info on their perspective regarding hair analysis:

Not sure I follow, but I believe Mercola has some kind of deal on water

testing, and IIRC testing for aluminum isn't unusually expensive.
