Guest guest
le I didn't/don't have any bathroom problems associated with V4L. However I have heard others complain that it turned their stool to cement. Sooooo, If your suddenly having those issues it probably is the V4L. The cause....Calcium! What I'd recommend trying: Stop taking the V4L, until your stool returns to a comfortable place for you. Then gradually add the v4l back, giving your body a chance to adjust as you increase. If your still firmer than you want to be you can add Magnesium. Magnesium along with vitamin D is needed to absorb calcium...plus Magnesium will loosen your stool (it's the active ingredient in Milk of Magnesium!) Note to post-ops: If your having trouble with your calcium labs take a look at your magnesium levels...if they are on the low end of the curve you may want to up your magnesium to help your calcium levels? Especially if your diet is mostly Protein and your not getting in a good variety of fruits and veggies..greens... Hugs Jo
