Guest guest
Well, I always said I was a food-aholic. Now, nearly 4 years after my DS, I've re-gained 20+ pounds! I know why. I eat too much carbs & sugar and don't exercise. My stomach has stretched, too. I'm the same person, with the same food cravings and lazy habits that I had before surgery. It's terrible, I know. You'd think, after all I've been through, I'd be able to stay on top of this. But, apparently, I can't. I'm very stressed about this. I was VERY GOOD with the food the first year. Protein first, no sodas, no alcohol (still don't drink much), very little carbs... Never exercised much. But jeez, the weight was falling off, so why exercise? So, what should I be eating at 4 years out???? What are the rules now? If there are others out there, please write me directly and let's talk. Maybe we can start a " side group " to help each other. I'm very disappointed in myself. Yes, myself, not the surgery. Shirley in Arcata
