Now some pro-choice groups are carrying on with claims that Pam Tebow, Tim's mom, is a liar because abortion back in the 80s was a criminal act in the ines. They claim that no doctor would recommend an abortion. Well, abortion was against the law in America for a very long time and doctors would sometimes tell mothers-to-be behind closed doors that they recommended an abortion and left it at that because abortion at that time was a criminal act. Back to Pam Tebow. She has always been an American citizen. She was living in the ines at the time while her husband was working there. She could have easily gotten on an airplane for a 'visit' to America and while there, had an abortion so the argument being made by those pro-choice activists that Pam is a liar is specious at best. Bottom line is the ad is about one woman who made a choice and the results of her choice was a healthy son who just happened to grow up to be an excellent football player. Pro-life, pro-choice or anything in between is immaterial. It's one woman's story and the happy ending that came about for her and her family.
