Dangerous Food Bill: easy directions and sample letter

Please forgive this duplicate political message, but I'm writing about

Senate Bill S. 510 because we are all interested in Natural Health and if

the bill goes through, it will very likely be passed in the House and then

we can kiss our organic food supply goodbye. Instead, we'll be at the mercy

of Monsanto and other multi-nationals.

You can go onto the site of any grassroots group and sign their letter to be

emailed. I have also emailed my Senators personally, with some slightly

different points than what they have already received, to drive home the

dangers of this law.

No matter what State you are from, you can find and email your Senator from

Dear Senator:

I am writing to urge you to vote AGAINST S. 510. The FDA already has the

ability to stop the contamination of our food supply. This law is vague

enough to allow the FDA to abuse its power and go after small farms, farmers

markets, etc.

Don't forget, we will have a lot of new people on welfare in our state if

the small farms were to fail! And a question: with all the current power

that it has, the FDA did not attempt to shut down a giant filthy-eggs

operation. So why give the FDA more power?
