Guest guest
Just from what I have gathered here most struggle with money, and most are not appreciated when they try to help others. Nobody shoot me just thinking outloud. Dollie, Well, I think most of us struggle with money because getting jobs that pay a lot and leave us miserable just doesn't appeal to us. Before quitting to start working at a dairy farm and then farming myself, I used to be a lawyer. I didn't even make it 3 years without being so miserable that I wanted to ... well, not good things. I left the lawyer life more in debt than when I started because you have to buy and pay for a lot of things when starting up a law practice. So, I came into farming already with a pile of debt that I can't pay. But, it doesn't matter. I'll get through it because I've got my animals to care for & love. THAT does make all of the difference. Now, I don't know about dish soap, crust on bread or half a dozen other things on here but, I know that my quality of life is world's better and I know that I'll live longer because of it because I'm still alive.
