Bell's palsy

Thanks, Saul.

Actually, the ozone doctor across the street, my Mexican neighbor, began

acupuncture immediately after the palsy hit and continued it once a week for

about 25 weeks. That's when I finally suggested that the acupuncture wasn't

working. I downloaded a diagram of the facial nerves from the Bell's palsy

website http://www.bellspalsy.ws/nerve.htm and suggested ozone shots instead. He

was happy to comply because the ozone shots only took a couple of minutes, if

that, while the acupuncture took at least 15 minutes. He's been doing the ozone

shots for about 30 weeks, and there has been some improvement, especially on the

tongue, where the tingling, numb sensation on exactly half the tongue, has

mellowed and is nowhere near as intense, but still there. (By the way, he hasn't

charged me a peso in all this time. I'm his last patient on the Sunday that he

comes from Mexico city to give a day of treatments. We give him homemade

chocolate candy and such.....)

Although the visible symptoms are Bell's palsy, there is more to it. I can feel

the pain connection running from my pelvis on the right side of my spine up to

the base of the skull where it seems to jig into the brain where I can feel

something foreign and from there on to my right eye. Sometimes the whole right

side of my head aches and throbs. I've taught one of our house girls to give me

ozone injections down the spine and on the right side of the neck below the

skull and that often settles it all down, but never permanently. That's where

I'm hoping that over time the IV treatments will eventually reduce the size of

whatever is in or near the nerve that is impinging on the facial nerves.

> Yes, I have done, and continue to do, many insufflations. Indeed, I had a

port/catheter installed earlier this year (much easier to accomplish here in

Mexico) so I could do ozone IVs, which I have done appx six days a week for many

months and continue. Somehow, though, it's not quite the same as direct

application of ozone or hydrogen peroxide directly to an affected area. IVs seem

more general and broad spectrum, sort of what in basketball is called a bank

shot. You start by cleaning the blood, which washes the organs and indirectly

heals all diseased areas, eventually, hopefully. I've had Bell's Palsy (right

side of the face paralyzed) for over a year. There's been improvement, but 95%

of all cases resolve naturally within a year. I've been doing ozone IV, ozone

shots to the face, h2o2 face rubs, etc, and at 15 months, I'm still only about

half healed.

accomplish my wish to be able to dip my body into a hydrogen peroxide solution

daily. I'm going to cogitate on it all and see what comes over the next few

weeks. Sometimes, just what you need will appear, shortly after you ask for it,

if you know what you're looking for. :-)
