Guest guest
> Questions: > (1) How to avoid GMO foods? Shop on the outside aisles of the grocery store - in other words purchase whole, minimally processed or preferably UNprocessed foods, organic if possible, and rely on these to form the bulk of your diet. Try to minimalize the amount of processed and packaged products you consume that come in bags, boxes, cans, jars and plastic wrappings etc, and when you do purchase them, read labels carefully and be very selective. Eat at home as much as possible so you can prepare your own meals from ingredients you've purchased yourself, and especially avoid eating at fast food restaurants. The 4 most commonly grown GMO crops in the world are: soy corn cotton rape (aka canola) The best way to avoid consuming any of these is to read labels before buying any packaged goods. If a product contains one of the above and is not labeled 100% organic, don't buy it because chances are that at least some of its ingredients are genetically engineered. Also, avoid consuming non-organic, factory farmed dairy products. Cows at these kinds of conventional dairies may very well have been injected with rBGH, a genetically engineered hormone. But since there are no laws requiring milk from these cows to be labeled as such, there's really no way of knowing one way or the other. And because milk from many, many cows may be mixed together in that one container of milk you buy, there's no way of knowing whether or not there's rBGH residue in it. Better yet, avoid this problem altogether by seeking out raw milk from local, grass fed, unmedicated, free ranged animals. Go to this page and look about halfway down on the left hand side, and click where it says " The Non-GMO Shopping Guide " to download a free article on the subject: http://www.seedsofdeception.com/Public/Home/index.cfm Here's another free e-book you can download: http://www.healthtruthrevealed.com/gmo_book_download.php Read and learn as much as you can about GMO's so you can make informed choices when you shop for food: http://www.saynotogmos.org/index.htm http://www.savvyvegetarian.com/articles/campaign-healthier-eating.php > (2) How to repair the damages GMO done to our body since GMO is not regulated/labeled in the U.S., chances that we have taken various amount of GMO in our lifetime is very high?? No doubt we've all consumed at least some sort of genetically modified organisms in our lives. Everything I suggested to G in my last email about holistic approaches to chronic degenerative diseases can be applied to anyone looking to help the body cope with the impact of consuming GM foods. elan
