Guest guest
Marla, Dr K and Dr .....(shoot, forgot his name...PS doctor) did my brachioplasy and breast lift. Dr K had done my panni the year before. It was all good. I did have some issue with my left breast having some scar issues that caused me to have it redone. But, I don't think that it had anything to do with the docs. It was just a scar tissue issue my own body had. I end up getting it fixed later. The only thing I would do differently, knowing what I know now, is that when I had my panni done I would have had my mons lifted. I seriously hadn't seen that area in years, didn't really know there was a surgery for it, and didn't realize that getting it done at the same time as the panni would have been easy. You live, you learn. I am no where near my savings goal, but it is a plan in the future to get the lower body lift and I will get it done then. I met two women in Portland that went to Brazil and had it done. They looked great and were very positive about the experiences they each had with the docs and services they received there. in WA (cause I don't care who gets my number!) Guest guest
Ummmmmmmm. The mons is the pubic area. I really didn't notice until AFTER the tummy hang-over was removed that it also had gained, then lost weight and needed a bit of a tuck or lift. Guest guest
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh my God. I'm so, so, so.UCH, such a thing to talk about on this list. Have you NO decency???????? I need mine worked on again too. I'm going to a ps this time and have it completely removed. As much as I love Dr. K, a ps he is not-he has done his best twice but it is still the biggest bulge on my body. That is one reason I do not wear clothes that actually fit. I was supposed to be in surgery with Dr. K on Thursday, but I have pneumonia and the pcg would not clear me for surgery. Poor me. Guest guest
, Thanks for the update! I have to eat eggs every morning too - or I just don't feel good - the next day! I find what I eat today has an effect on how I will feel tommorrow. Same with water - if I don't drink enough I don't feel well the next day or two. Hanging out at 192-195 for a couple of years with my all time 30 second low of 187, then I too slacked off the exercise and went back to bad eating habits, in addition to all my protien. I was 4 years out in Dec. My goal for 2006. To get my good habits back. To walk every day. To step away from the bad carbs and sugar. To get my will power and make this a normal way of life. Not just a " diet " to lose these extra pounds. Of course, I would do this surgery again. If I ever get down to 185, I will take out a loan and get my legs done too. Then I am thru with surgery. We can work on this together. We can doooo iiiitttt!!! hugs, Sharon in Onyx
Guest guest
Yup, a coffee week as a treat. No sodas. Watching my bread and bread-like things...... I am totally into being good. 5 year labs? Huh?? No, sorry. I no longer have insurance, so that is going to have to wait for a bit. I have been good about my supplements for the most part, so I think that I am doing okay..... tho I know I need to get them done (ok mom!). in WA
Guest guest
Ok, if you posties are gonna set goals and do it - I had better too! I will be 4 years out in just a few weeks. My lowest weight 141 was for about a week in the fall of 2004. A very stressful week I might add! I have gained up to 152 since then. It isn't the number. 152 is a fine weight. It is the fact that all my clothes are too tight. My 2006 goal - lose weight, get in shape - whatever it takes to make my clothes fit again. I may even attempt a sit up! Haven't done one of those in YEARS! I don't care what the weight number is. I just want my size 8's to fit!! BTW, a tummy tuck would take care of it - but I am a surgery weenie! All 11 pounds seem to be in tummy zone! Tracey did it! We can too!! hugs, cindy lee > > I was a good little exercise bunny in the beginning, but really > slacked off in the last couple of years. > I did fall back into bad habits within the last 3 months......sodas > and coffee (which I have to use a lot of cream and sugar with) and > > comfort foods. Guest guest
You're too kind Lee! I'm definitely still fighting to lose more but I'm happy to say that I've more or less kept my weight at 179.5 for over a month now. My goal for 2006 is to get down to 168. *I think I can, I think I can!* I'm going to start by eating more protein in the mornings. I've just bought some eggs and will be following your example and will try to eat them every morning. For some reason this week, my body is craving meat like crazy! I don't get it because most of the time, I'm just NOT a meat eater. But, I gave in to it and have been munching on a really yummy italian meat salad. I got fresh deli meats and some shredded lettuce and once everything is chopped up and mixed together, I used mustard and mayonnaise as my dressing. It's soooo good! And really filling! Anyway, here's to 2006 goals!!! Hugs and love, Tracey >Tracey > did it! We can too!! > > hugs, cindy lee > >

Guest guest
Hi Mel! Yeah, it was a bit expensive the way I did it. I would buy less of the meats next time because I'm finding I have more than enough to last for a weeks worth of salads in the frig right now. I probably won't finish the meats before they go bad since I got them from the deli. Next time I'll go with a quarter pound of each meat and the cheese and that will probably cost around $15 at Vons. That should last me for a good three LARGE salads, especially if I add a little more lettuce. (The good thing about the pepperoni is that it should last a few weeks.) Hugs!
