When you stop to think about it, this is actually not really so very

surprising at all.

That's because the same dynamic in terms of this pandemic of chronic

degenerative illness we're witnessing with with human beings these

days is being graphically reflected back to us in our domestic pet

population.

It begins to make sense when you consider that generations of cats and

dogs have been fed a steady diet of nothing but highly processed,

overcooked junk food that's depleted of good quality nourishment and

is not easily assimilated by their bodies. Eating nothing but cooked,

processed food puts a chronic strain on our pets' carnivorous

digestive systems, because they were never designed to eat such food.

Rather over the course of millions of years, Mother Nature designed

canines and felines to consume and process RAW animal based foods -

not a load of overcooked, pesticide and herbicide laced GMO corn/soy

based kibble and canned food.

At the same time, we're vaccinating the living daylights out of these

animals - not only when they're little baby kittens and puppies with

immature immune systems, but also when they go to the vet for spay and

neuter surgery, and sometimes even when they're sick, which is

absolutely wrong. Boosters are given year after year, over and over,

and all of this indiscriminate jabbing is causing some devastating and

sometimes even irreparable damage to the immune systems of these

animals. Some people even say that the damage caused by vaccines

occurs on the level of the DNA itself, so that vaccinosis can actually

be inherited from vaccine damaged parents.

Top off this sickening cocktail (of inferior quality, over-processed,

nutrient poor, poorly assimilated food coupled with vaccinations out

the wazoo) with the additional insult of the direct application of

neuro-toxic petrochemical insecticides like de-wormers, heartworm

medication and flea/tick collars, powders and spot treatments -- and

it's no wonder our domestic pet population is suffering from so much

chronic illness these days and dropping dead so often from diseases

like cancer!

It doesn't help either that vets regularly prescribe antibiotics for

pets at the drop of a hat (often as a preventative no less) even when

no apparent infection is evident.

All these unnecessary antibiotics only compound a bad situation,

fueling the fire of vulnerability to chronic illness by throwing a

monkey wrench into the immune systems of our furry friends.

If people would stop feeding these animals all that wretched

commercial dreck (and instead feed them a diet of whole raw foods),

quit vaccinating them, refuse to administer antibiotics for no good

reason, and stop poisoning their pets on a regular basis with

pesticides, no doubt this would have a major positive impact on the

collective health of the domestic pet population.

Dogs and cats are really no different than we are in terms of the

things we all require to maintain good health. If we eat loads of

crappy, highly processed, low quality food, allow ourselves to be

vaccinated over and over, take dose after dose of pharmaceuticals, and

fail to make choices that help us avoid ingesting so many

environmental toxins, chances are we'll end up suffering and dying

from chronic degenerative diseases the same way so many of our pets are.
