Guest guest
There is another story about her. The SAS and most other special forces have something called a killing house. This is a specially made house that is like a real house that are used for live fire training. Very often they will place live "hostages" in there, usually other team members. Sometimes visiting dignitaries also get the treatment. The story goes that Thatcher went there to see the SAS "in action." She was given a chair in the killing house with one of her attendants on either side of her. They wait and all of a sudden the SAS men kicked in the door and came in shooting. One of the attendants dropped on the floor, and Thatcher said, calmly from her chair in the midst of all the ruckus: "Get up, you are embarrassing me." Or something to that effect. Guest guest
You either loved or loathed her if you lived in the UK at this time. I always found her to be on a different planet as they say, She may have restricted our Unions but she destroyed our Industries, Most unpopular Prime minister ever ( at that time , Brown must have that honour now) and was only saved by the Falklands war. For me she is a disaster and should be written in History as a nightmare... but most older people think she was great. Her levels of unemployment have still not been reached in this recession, whatever happened to Moneterism, don't hear much about it now. Rant over.
