Guest guest
Not surprising that little was done to improve security in the intervening month. After all: the World Trade Center was attacked at least twice before 9/11, people were seeking training to fly big jets but not land them, and other things. Bureaucracy is extremely slow to react to anything like this. Just remember that in the heyday of airline hijackings, no real security measures were taken on board the airplanes or even much at the airports, for decades. Hijackings still go on, many every year, its just that most don't make it into the main news broadcasts. In a message dated 12/30/2009 2:08:47 P.M.
