Guest guest
Hi everyone, wishing you all a geat day! I live in the Los Angeles area, an area that I am sure that many have Hep C. Afer checking around I found that there is no group here doing anything to acknowledge World Hep C day. There is basicly only 4 face to face support groups held by the same person in this city. I really am shocked that there is not support here. A couple hospitals have groups for tranplant patients and that is it. I would think that there would be groups around for people who are doing TX ,etc ,but there are none? Does anyone know why that is? Is there not enough awareness in our cities? Do any of you have anything going on in your cities? I just don't understand... please splain, Rickky! Steph
Guest guest
Back when I was looking, I found one in a city some 40 or so miles from me. That is the only one I found in our whole area. I think many with this disease feel the stigma and/or are too ill to go on a regular basis. I sure was. Sharon in NW Washington Knitting is...time and love made tangible.
