Unfortunately my Primary Doctor was on vacation at this time with no one to take over his case's and he is fired . I had to visit the ER twice and it takes a lot to get me there . I had several things going on at once , kidney stones , high fever maybe related to cough , sinus headache sever enough to keep me from a meal for 3 days and the unexplained swelling . And yes i am fairly new to treatment 3 so far of the PEGINTERFERON + RIBAVIRIN . The side effects are minimal Thank God .I have Thrombocytopenia ! My viral load is / was over six million maybe the cause of skin sores that don't heal maybe > ( Lichen planus is a chronic mucocutaneous disease that affects the skin and the oral mucosa ) . My Doctor says i am between the 3 rd and 4 Th End stage of cirrhosis , So I don't know what to expect from treatment but i couldn't just do nothing . I have taken 105 mg now 120 mg of Morphine daily for the last 2 1/2 years for spinal pain ( new to Social Security Disability ) I am sure this has to be taking it's toll .
