Guest guest
I gave in the summer, I am further down south here in NC from MD and I just run the air now until September, not worth the humidity and any side effects, we are getting a storm, my asthma feels like it is twitching, can anyone recommend a good peak-flow meter. yea, my sister was being her typical self can in my room around 1:30 a.m.already had trouble sleeping, and starts turning my lights switches on and off pretty rude .... she thinks I am soo dramatic, I blew her off all weekend, she wanted to know if I wanted compassion from here because in the unit she works she has never seen ashtma patients and she thinks I am looking for drama, and people are so much worse, I told her I want her to leave me alone and that she should write this group, and give her license number and the location where she works and her setiments regarding my drama and get some good feedback. Re: Family , I am so very sorry to hear you had to have dental surgery but I'm so UPSET you are living in this HELL. Listen to me and all the other group members..... .GET OUT!!!!!!!!! !!!! You sister's reaction has nothing to do with your having asthma but, that is my opinion. For the sake of your asthma and your health GET OUT. She could really hurt you physically. Go to someone you can trust, your priest, pastor, best friend, even a shelter, to get some real guidance and take immediate action. TAKE CARE OF YOU FAST! Again, this is just my opinion. But your asthma would really improve without all of this drama and stress. Guest guest
www.microlife.com I love mine, it's all digital and hold memory! I can't remember exactly where I bought mine but it was no more than $50. As for your sis, bring her on! I think we all can really educate her. I don't understand her at all! I only open the house when the temps are in the low to mid 70's with low humidity and very low pollen count. It was nice for 5 days, but time for the AC again! Guest guest
No problem. Stress can be a trigger for me sometimes, too. We need some rain here, but I don't like the humidity when it's wet. This area is too dry and there is beginning to be some concern about the lake levels in our reservoir. It provides drinking water for part of the area I live in. We'll just hope it rains soon. Guest guest
I have the microlife too. It's really very nice!! I got mine off ebay, but I know they sell them on Amazon too. :-) Regardless of what type of patients your sister is working with today, she should have had experience and training with breathing problems including asthma. I'm sorry, but as a medical professional she really should have more compassion. Maybe she needs to look at changing fields if she's that unhappy? Take care! Guest guest
Terry the deep South is in the throngs of a major drought. In Florida some lakes were down over 10 feet. My area has had a lot of rain lately but we are still not at normal levels of rain, and that includes 5 inches of rain on Saturday alone. (Btw..there was no flooding associated with that 5 inches of rain...thats how bad we need it here). However, even though we need the rain that badly here, the humidity levels from the Bay and the Gulf are just miserable. , I hope you get the rain you need soon. AnnGet the Moviefone Toolbar. Guest guest
No flood rider so no insurance coverage. I'm lucky enough (if you can call it that) to live in one of the areas FEMA has listed as a disaster site, so after filling out a lot of paperwork, and waiting I may get a small amount of this back in the form of a low-interest loan. Don't worry, I'm using heavy duty gloves and a mask whenever in the basement. Bleach works so much better for getting rid of germs and mold than any cleaner out there though. The worst part has been cleaning up the mud that's left all over the floor now that the water is out. I'm just glad I still have my home though, and the flooding was limited to the basement. Ann Get the Moviefone Toolbar. Guest guest
Thank you Terry. I just went online to Amazon and ordered the PF 100. Also ordered the movie "The Bucket List" while I was there. Cheryl Burton ncicheryl@... Guest guest
We do too. We've had 3 straight days of yellow level ozone alerts. Tomorrow is supposed to be orange which means the ozone will be worse. YUCK!!! God bless you!
