We have a lot less problems in the summer.   He still has anxiety but it is a

real break for us and him as school is his biggest

stressor.....................................Larkellen

It seems as though my son is now fine. School has been out for ten days now ad

he has low to o anxiety ad claims o OCD thoughts after only 4 booster sessions?

He says that since he doesn't have to worry about schoolwork or socializing that

this is the reason why he has no anxiety. My thing is he has to learn to deal

with it during the school year. Its always easy for us i the summertime, anyoe

else have the same issue? Anxiety during the school year and no problems in

summer?

Our son always did better during summer. He had less stress in his life and

more time to distract himself with things he enjoyed, so they were able to

distract him better.

Plus he got more sleep. Whenever he got sleep deprived, his OCD would flare.

Glad to hear that your son is doing so much better. We had the opposite

problem--much worse in the summer, most likely due to lack of routine. Of course

all bets were off when my daughter went away to college and all hell broke

loose! lol (I wasn't lol ing at the time)
