My Christmas Tree...

I love my tree, but it is 20 years old this year and totally and utterly moth eaten. Every year since we moved 3 years ago, I have been promising myself a new tree, but can't bring myself to send it to Christmas tree heaven. So, I asked to do it for me, and it is now half done and bits of the moth eaten bits are everywhere. Hay fever has set in with running eyes due to the dust from the attic. There are bauble boxes and bits of lights from arsehole to breakfast table, and has gone out for the evening. So, as always, I am left to pick up the pieces and finish the job off. What a damned mess! The tree is black, so at least the bits that have dropped off it are dark enough to see to pick up with the vacuum. Other than that, what a boring old day I have had. Washed the car, watched a Doris & Rock movie and basically watched mess gather around me.

I have about 10 feral looking teenage boys a couple of very nice looking young ladies down in the cabana - I am still trying to work out why these girls like these boys so much. I mean, Liam is gorgeous looking, but could do with a new wardrobe and I have no idea any more if he actually has hair because he wears a black beanie day and night... yes, even in 33 degree heat ~ and he can't actually give me a reason as to why he does, he just does. His little girlfriend that he has had since Easter is just the sweetest girl... and nice as well... what she see's in him is beyond me. The other lot have flannies on - what I call lumberjack shirts, they must be the new in thing. The girls have lovely little summer shifts on and look lovely - so what is that they see in this rather unsavourly dressed boys - your guess is as good as mine. All I know is that the Pizza Hut is about to get a rather big order.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend... can you tell I am a bit bored and trying to put off the inevetable clean up in the family room? I also have to put the fibre optic tree up in the front window - but I will do that tomorrow and I don't decorate it, just turn it on and let it look pretty. Ah well... back to the mess.
