Charter school for a child with mild ocd?

My 8 year old son has mild to moderate OCD.

He is currently functioning fine [ wiht out 504 or IEP ] in a public school.

We have an option of moving to a charter school and wanted to know :

- Is a charter school obliged to help through a 504 or an IEP

- Is there any other help they offer

- Or are we better off in a public school setting where if we do need help

they will have the necessary services.
