Guest guest
Ohh... I thought he looked great with the beard. And I agree with you, I think his voice is softer and more mellow. I still can never understand how a three piece band can play such wonderful music. Joe sounds just like his father... they are more grungy but they are also a three piece band and I thought that they were very similar in style to The Police. He is as cute as a button also and has many of his fathers moves and facial expressions. >> Yes, I wasn't far behid over to the left looking at the stage - not sure> about Stings facial hair - i tend to suffer from beard rash.....in my dreams!!> Yes, they were brilliant and i actually think that Stings voice is even better> now than it was 20 years ago!!!!I thought that Fergie strutted her stuff> really well - i didn't see Stings offspring perform as i arrived later, how> was his band?> E> > >-- Original Message --> >To: SydBand > > >Date: Thu, 24 Jan 2008 23:36:02 -0000> >Subject: Elaine...> >Reply-To: SydBand > >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >How hot were the Police last night??? Guest guest
I wasn't when I got home... yet I have eaten more since I got home than when I was up there... No bloody rhyme or reason to any of it is there? Yes... so nine to go and I can do that easy peasy before I go away. I am hating to admit this, but I am actually planning to do optiyuk after I see Dr.Fill next week... I am going to do it for a week and see what happens. I am not going to be overly strickt with myself... but it could get me on the road downwards and break this new plateau that I have hit. Never know if you don't try... and if my fill is what I hope it to be, I will have to be careful with solids for a day or two - and then gently gently. Mel >> Oh Mel - I was going to ask you if you had managed to stay in the eighties> after P.Mac and you have - thats brilliant, well done!> > Elaine> > > > > >Ok... Guest guest
Doesn't matter how much, as long as it keeps going in the right direction in my opinion! Guest guest
Hi Elaine... what a mystery this band is. It is like being on a ghost train ride - never know what might jump out at you next. After the weekend of no food - sipping slowly to get fluids in, thoughts of a trip to the ED at RNS... yesterday I ate that Egg & Caviar pie - and you know me and eggs don't go together at all. I had three cruskits with it and no problems at all. I also managed to nibble on Liam's kettle chips yesterday arvo ( I told him never bring any home again ). I didn't manage dinner though - the rissoles in chutney sauce did not go down at all. But the M & M's with peanuts were great!!!!! Yesterday morning I was 86.5 kilos on my scales - today I am 87.5 kilos. Up and down... maybe not a ghost ride - more a bloody rollercoaster. I am drinking my coffee now and I can feel it pouring through. No rhyme or reason - I just hope that my weekend of nothing and probably too much pbing hasn't caused a problem. No reflux at all, so that is good. I will wait another 24 hours and see how it goes. If I can still eat like I did yesterday I am going to ring and do a visit and have a barium... just to see what is going on. But of course, my band seems to get stage fright when I drive into the hospital and behaves itself. Mel >> Hiya Mel,> > How is it going today? Are you under the dreaded 90kgs?>
Guest guest
Yeah, I swear our bands have a mind of their own! I am very proud of you though Mel.....it wasnt THAT long ago that you were hovering between 89 and 90....and now you are hovering between 86 and 87.....so its progress!! I know, I know, we all want to be slim quickly, but you WILL get there - might take a little longer than some others - but you'll make it, I have no doubt of that! Guest guest
Wow - you are well under 90kgs - if you go up and down between 86.5 and and 87.5 that is good!!! Gosh, I am surprised you could eat the egg pie, I remember that you and eggs aren't friends!!
