Guest guest
Hiya Mon I never bother with resolutions, but this year it is going to be an attempt to do the gym thing for real and stick with it. I was reading about weight set points and it seems I am at my set point weight (maybe) well that is not really good enough. Some of the suggestions they have about making it past or resetting your set point is to not change your eating but to increase exercise. Hmmm, not really what I want to do, but its worth a shot I guess.
Guest guest
Hi + Mon, I think that I need both the resolution to eat a bit less of the carbs and vino.... but like you I need to do some exercise which i really hate otherwise i will not get down to my BMI of normal which is about 5 kgs away.... It will take me until Jan to get motivated.... but at least you are not alone in the exercise issue. take care... eva > > > Hiya Mon > > I never bother with resolutions, but this year it is going to be an > attempt to do the gym thing for real and stick with it. Guest guest
Mon My apron is horrid - really noticed it on this trip with clothes that were just right but not quite across the stomach. Like you I have not ruled out a tt.
Guest guest
Hiya Mon I have the daily love hate with my band, usually in the morning when I just want a cuppa or a big slug of water and I know I cant. Then I get over it and move on, sipping slowly... but yes, this band has been the making of me so I love it and really thank the day I got it. Guest guest
Hi , You really have your ups and downs with your band, don't you. Is this normal? Apart from my problems following last weeks fill, I haven't had a problem having a cuppa in the mornings(or at any other time). Maybe I still don't have full restriction! I feel very comfortable most of the time and when I get any pain etc I know I have eaten too quickly or not chewed my food enough etc. I'll see how I go over the next week or so and then decide whether to go back for more fill. My doctor suggested one month between fills this time as he thinks I'm very close to good restriction. I do agree with him. I lost over 1 kg between last Wednesday and Sunday so that made it all worthwhile. Have a great day. Joanne
Guest guest
Mon I would love to meet you when you come down - we will meet for sure! As for suggestions... you gotta catch the ferry across to Taronga zoo, do a few hours there. Then perhaps back across to Circular Q, then jump on another ferry to s Bay and have fish & chips in the park from Doyle's. Then you have to go to Darling Harbour for a walk around, its nice on early evening - although it might be starting to get a little cool, so bring a jacket. Cant wait to meet you! Guest guest
Thank you I will leave the details till a bit closer to the date.....I am getting excited now! At first, when I was told I had to come in person to Sydney for my appointment, I was a bit peeved, its a loooong way from home, but then I thought I might as well make it fun. I am going to print out your e-mail, and Mel's, and then plan some adventures with my son. Thanks for the suggestions! Guest guest
Hey MonI thought Dom was lovely - I had no problem with him, we were in a noisy restaurant - he was in his element, remember those drunks on the table next to us, Dom was mild in comparison!!! He is a lovely gentle boy, you are so lucky to have him in your life. You are a special person to be given such a great gift.
