Sounds like a good plan Bonnie. I know some things you've said before had me

thinking autism spectrum but can't recall if he actually had that dx or if it

was to be ruled out, etc.

Cross fingers for the med combo to work wonders!!

that he is somewhere on the autistic spectrum. Now that his moods are somewhat

stabilized, he is going to start a very low dose of Prozac and Buspar. Our past

history with Prozac was initially good, then bad (in the spring when his mood

destabilized?). He said that Buspar treats the anxiety without destabilizing

mood and that it lessesns irritability - it also affects the release of oxytocin

which has been shown to improve social functioning - both social anxiety and

even social interpretation. It'll be interesting to see results.
